Adventures

ADVENTURE IS NEVER THE SAME. For some, it’s the rush of a surf lesson in the bracing Pacific waves. Or sharing a beach bonfire with your sweetheart on a moonlit Northwest night. For others, it’s the inner journey of beach yoga, followed by a meditative hike across the dunes. Whether you find your escape on a bike, beach towel or pillow-top bed, Headlands and the Oregon Coast offer a multitude of adventures to feed your soul.

    BEACH AND TRAIL PRESERVATION

Headlands has partnered with Barrel Bags to provide beach and trail clean-up bags for all our adventure outings. Headed out? Help preserve the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast. Pick up a bag at the Adventure Center to help remove the trash and micro-plastics that wash up on our beaches and are left on our trails. Your full bag may be redeemed for a voucher entitling you to a free Pelican Brewing Co pint or root beer.

A COAST OF POSSIBILITIES

Our Pacific playground stretches 50 miles from Cape Meares Lighthouse to the north, to Lincoln City to the south. In between you’ll find a colorful collection of beachfront towns, dramatic capes, outdoor experiences, distinctive attractions and miles of sandy shoreline. In Pacific City and Tillamook County alone, there are whales to watch, tide pools to explore, fish to catch and dunes to climb. Venture a few miles farther to discover cycling, kayaking, waterskiing and rafting. Or slow down for a 40-mile drive along the Three Capes Scenic Loop. The Oregon Coast has it all.
