Relax and reset under sunny skies, inhale fresh Pacific air and enjoy ocean views from your balcony. Head Out on a Fat Tire beach bike ride, hike through scenic old-growth forest, and ascend the giant dune at Cape Kiwanda for breathtaking views of the North Coast. Relax into a healing ocean-inspired treatment at our Tidepools Spa. Then retreat to the Lodge for an afternoon of steamer clams on the patio with your Adventure Coach. PET POLICY
- We only allow dogs at Headlands. Sorry, no cats, birds or other animals
- The fee to have your dog stay with you is $35 per dog per night
- All dogs must be reported at the time reservations are made
- Dogs allowed in dog friendly rooms only
- Maximum of 2 dogs per room
- No dogs allowed to be left alone in the room or Cottage
- Included in your stay are comfy dog blankets so you can make sure the room stays clean
- Dog bed and dishes are included in your stay
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times when not in the room
- Please use dog wash areas before re-entering the buildings

Your Summer Coastal Reset Journey
A PROPOSED ITINERARY TO RESET ON THE NORTH COAST
DAY 1: WELCOME TO HEADLANDS
4:00 PM – Exhale, you have arrived at your Coastal Reset getaway. Check-in, and settle in as you take in the expansive views of Haystack Rock and Cape Kiwanda on your private oceanfront deck.

8:30 PM – Head Out for a special evening combining two of our favorite traditions—hiking the dune and beach bonfires. Your adventure coach will lead the hike up and over the dune to nearby McPhillips beach where a bonfire, hand crafted marshmallows for s’mores, and your custom Pendleton x Headlands blanket await your arrival.

DAY 2: RESET WITH NATURE
8:00 AM – Wake up to the sound of the surf and share a breakfast of scones and coffee in front of your cozy fireplace.
10:00 AM –Lace up your hiking boots and chose from one of three trails at Cape Lookout. You’ll be perched high above the Pacific Ocean with expansive views of the North Coast, the ideal place to savor and enjoy your well-earned Meridian picnic lunch.
3:00 PM – Venture out to our outdoor patio to experience a North Coast favorite—steamed clams featuring fresh locally foraged clams. Our adventure coach will guide you through preparing and cooking perfectly steamed clams paired with Pelican Brewing Company beer for an authentic North Coast culinary experience.

DAY 3: ADVENTURE AND RELAXATION AWAIT
9:00 AM – Grab your Fat Tire bike, adventure coach, and cruise onto the sand as you explore the vast coastline to where the Nestucca River meets the Pacific Ocean. Keep your eyes open for Brown California Pelicans, Bald Eagles, and other wildlife you are sure to see on your ride.
1:00 PM – Find your way to Tidepools Spa and relax into a fluffy robe as you await your restorative body treatment. After your treatment, venture out onto the patio and enjoy a soak in the hot tub as you gaze at Haystack rock.
6:00 PM – Drift over to Meridian and take in the expansive views of Pacific City as and savor your four-course Northwest Chef’s Tasting Menu with Oregon Wine Pairings in our intimate dining space at Mary’s Garden.
9:00 PM – Finish your day with a moonlight walk along the beach and then retreat to your room for a seasonally curated dessert and specialty cocktail.

DAY 4: RETURN REFRESHED AND RECHARGED
9:00 AM – Awaken refreshed and enjoy your coffee and breakfast on your balcony and take in the quiet moments.
