   Experience the wonders of whale watching on the Oregon coast! Gray whales are visible year-round, but for a few weeks each year our vantage points become especially exciting when as many as 20,000 Gray whales pass by on their way to the temperate waters of Baja.    Each winter the yearly king tides return to the Pacific Northwest, offering magnificent displays of the power and strength of the Pacific Ocean. For an unforgettable experience, climb to the top of the Great Dune at Cape Kiwanda for a perfect (and safe) vantage point from which to observe these powerful forces of nature.
