Cottages: Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some details and frequently asked questions to help you make the most of your stay. As always, if you need anything, please contact Guest Services.
Your cottage is equipped with state-of-the-art TV and AV equipment providing access to cable channels, Netlix and XboxOne. Your user guide is located in the top drawer of your living room dry bar and in the dresser in each bedroom. Still have questions? Call Guest Services for assistance.
Wifi in your cottage is complimentary. Simply connect to “Kiwanda Cottages” and use the password “StarFish3”.
If you need more of any of the amenities in your cottage, such as shampoo, coffee, towels, please reach out to Guest Services and we will gladly assist you.
Ice machines are available in the Headlands pantries on every floor between rooms 08 and 09. An ice bucket is provided on the bar next to the fireplace.
Enjoy specially chosen and sampled snacks from our pantries located at Headlands on every floor between rooms 08 and 09. You will also find water in each pantry.
Check-out is at 11:00 am. If you need extra time, just call Guest Services and we will do our best to accommodate.
When you’re ready to check out, call Guest Services and we’ll take care of the rest.
The garbage shed, located just east of the Chinook building, is unlocked from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm. If you are in need of a pick-up, call Guest Services and we will gladly assist.
Room service from Meridian Restaurant & Bar is available from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. To order in-room dining, wine or handcrafted cocktails, press the Meridian Restaurant & Bar button on your phone. When you have finished your meal, please place your tray outside your cottage and call Meridian to request pickup.
Start at the Adventure Center. You can reserve a private outing with an Adventure Coach, join a small group excursion to a nearby trail, or grab a self-guiding map and trekking poles and head out to explore the coast. Whether you decide to explore the local area or venture further out to experience the grandeur of the Oregon Coast, our Adventure Coaches can help create a memorable and inspiring getaway.
Don’t forget your beach towels located in the bottom cabinet in the hallway of your cottage. Beach access is on the south side of the cottages next to Headlands. On your way, you will find a hot water shower outside for rinsing off upon return. Looking for some beach toys? They can be found in the recycling area; please return when departing for the next guest. Need a few beach chairs? Call Guest Services and we’ll set you up.
Yes, it is available for $10 per bundle. Please call Guest Services or the Adventure Center for assistance.
Bikes are available to borrow along with helmets and local maps. Visit the Adventure Center for assistance.
