Daniel was born in Mexico and raised in Texas. He discovered a passion for camping and exploring the outdoors at a young age after joining his local scouts youth group. During this time he learned many useful skills including camping basics, bush craft and leadership tools.

Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communication from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Since graduating, Daniel has been working in the hospitality industry for almost ten years. Fortunately for us, Daniel fell in love with the Oregon Coast during a surf trip, and soon after moved to the coast. In his words, “It’s everything I’ve been looking for and more!” And Daniel hasn’t stopped exploring since he arrived.

During his free time you’ll find Daniel shooting wildlife photography and sharing the waves with his friends.

Amber was born and raised in Central California and grew up exploring the California mountains, rivers, deserts and lakes with family and friends. When visiting grandparents on the Central Coast she spent days tidepooling, swimming, boogie boarding and beachcombing.

Amber has a passion for wildlife and landscape photography, yoga, hiking, camping, paddleboarding and kayaking. As a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, Amber has been instructing various styles of yoga for eight years and has led workshops in nature. With a broad set of interests, Amber is taking classes to be a metalsmith jeweler and enjoys watercolor plein air painting.

Her love for the West Coast brought her to Oregon as an Adventure Coach and yoga instructor where she is excited to share her wealth of knowledge about the local fauna, flora and wildlife.

Born and raised in California’s Central Valley, Chelsea has spent much of her adult life exploring far beyond it. From living aboard a sailboat in Hawaii to traveling across New Zealand in a van she built herself, she has slept on countless beaches and immersed herself in wild and beautiful places. These experiences fostered a deep connection to the natural world and sparked a passion for foraging, herbalism and holistic living.

Always drawn to the sea, Chelsea eventually found her home on the Oregon Coast, where the close-knit community and dramatic landscapes of Pacific City continue to inspire her. An accomplished artist, she is most often found painting landscapes in oil, but she also enjoys sharing her creative process with guests through the watercolor painting class she teaches at Headlands.

When she’s not guiding adventures or teaching, you’ll likely find Chelsea walking her dog through town, painting with her easel set in the sand or longboard surfing with friends.
